We cover Essex and Suffolk predominately but if you have an event out of these counties then please contact Kate for a bespoke quote.

For Giant Lawn Games Bookings, delivery is included in the cost to locations within Essex and Suffolk.

For hire of accessories or stationery items, delivery is not included. However, they can be booked in conjunction with a Giant Lawn Game package to benefit from delivery or a separate quote can be provided upon request.

Hire is typically 24 hours. If you require an extended hire period please contact Kate for a bespoke quote.

We have tried to keep our prices easy to understand and completely transparent. Our costs are the same whether you are hiring for a wedding, private party or a corporate event.

To secure your date, we will require a deposit of £50.

A one off, fully refundable breakages fee is also due at the time of booking, which is £50 and will be refunded within 7 days of the event, unless agreed otherwise.

Payment is to be made via bank transfer unless agreed otherwise.

The remaining balance needs to be paid in full six week prior to the event. Sadly, if payment isn’t received in this time, we will be forced to cancel your booking.

We will put an order into the weather gods for great weather for your big day and keep a close eye on the forecast in the build up.

If the great British weather decides not to play nicely, we discuss a Plan B prior to your special day and depending on what your hire consists of we will do everything in our power to make the most of the space that your venue offers.

For lawn game hire, we will set the games up regardless and encourage you to don your wellies, put up the umbrellas and make the most of it - after all your special day is just one day!

The easy answer is no. We want you to be free to play with our games as you wish, but please do take care of them and ensure that children are accompanied by an adult at all times. We are unable to take responsibility for any injuries that occur whilst playing our games.

We have also included a handy sign with each game which gives you all the rules!

We do ask for a damages deposit to be paid and any breakages will be deducted from this.

Of course, if everything is collected in good order this deposit will be refunded back to you.

Our hire price doesn’t include a set up or pack down service to give you flexibility for your event.

However, if you require any assistance we would be happy to provide a quote to meet your needs.

Essentially, we can provide a full service to plan and execute your event from start to finish.

Alternatively, if there are certain services you would like, but not others, we will always try to be as flexible as possible.

We will provide a quote based on your needs and budget, so let’s have a chat to get things started!

We aim to keep costs transparent and where a date rate is not appropriate we are happy to work on an hourly rate prior to agreement.

We’ve tried to keep our website as compact as possible, so there may be services not specifically listed that we can help with! Please just ask Kate!

If there is a game, service or item that you don’t see but would like then please always ask as we are constantly adding more ideas into the mix so it might already be in the pipeline!

We only work with suppliers who we trust and have either worked with in the past or have been recommended to us.

If there is a supplier that you would be interested in knowing more about, then we would be happy to introduce you. We will pass over your contact details with your permission, but will always be on hand for any questions or queries that you may have.

It is so, so important to us that we are able to provide you with the service that we have promised you, no matter what situation arises.

In an emergency, we will always try our very best to ensure that someone can step in to cover an absence or you will be offered a full refund.

All prices quoted include VAT.

Events by Kate has public liability insurance up to £1,000,000 for your peace of mind, and we can provide certification if your venue requires it.
